Naomi R. Moyer, 82, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 12, 2023, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Larry E. Moyer, to whom she was wed for 37 years.

Born in Lebanon County on April 10, 1940, Naomi was the daughter of the late John R. and Bessie (Sattazahn) Fortna.

She was a 1959 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School. Naomi worked at the United Christian Church Home (Annville) after the passing of her first husband, Benjamin F. Beck. After meeting and marrying her loving husband, Larry, Naomi resided in Snyder County for 32 years. She returned to Lebanon to be near her children and grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

In addition to her husband, Naomi is survived by her children: Brian Beck, husband of Lucinda (Houser), of Myerstown, and Noreen (Beck), wife of Kevin Habecker, of Lebanon; grandchildren: Amanda (Dwayne) Wetzel, of Pine Grove, Dwight (Alicia) Habecker, of Myerstown, Darren (Joslyn) Habecker, of Lebanon, and Dustin (Alyssa) Habecker, of Richland; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Esther (Marlin) Lauver, of Freeburg.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Marian and Herman Fortna.

There will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at God’s Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon, and another viewing at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1653 Creek Rd., Middleburg, PA 17842. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
