Nathan L. Ebersole, 73, of Jonestown, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Jan B. Eakins Ebersole. On December 19th, they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on May 7, 1949, he was the son of the late Norman J. and June C. Wine Ebersole.
Nathan was a truck driver and he last worked for KL Harring Transportation in Bethel. He grew up in the Gingrich Mennonite Church and he attended the Fairland Brethren in Christ Church. He loved hunting, watching football, driving truck, and he especially enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp in McKeen Co.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Clayton M. and his wife Laurie Ebersole of Hanover; brothers Nelson (Elsie) Ebersole of Annville, Nevin (Theda) Ebersole of Manheim, Neil (Cathy) Ebersole of Mifflintown and Norman “Lynn” (Betsy) Ebersole of Lancaster; sister Dianne Vranesic of Marysville; grandchildren Adam, Ashley (Rob), Courtney, Cody (Ali) and Blaine.
He was preceded in death by his sons Corey M. Ebersole and Jason D. Ebersole.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2022, at the Fairland Brethren in Christ Church, 529 W. Penn Ave., Cleona. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
