Nevan Seth McConnell, known to those who loved him as Nev, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 25.

Born on May 4, 2000, in Lebanon, PA, Nev grew up to become a man who left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Nev made his home in Philadelphia, PA, where he built a life defined by hard work, creativity, and an unmistakable love for the people around him. A skilled electrician by trade, he brought the same dedication to his work that he brought to everything else in his life. He was the kind of person who gave his all, no matter the task in front of him. But if you really wanted to see Nev come alive, you had to catch him with a guitar in his hands or behind the boards producing music.

Music was his true passion, the language he spoke most fluently. Whether he was crafting beats as a music producer or strumming his guitar, he poured his heart into every note. As much as music moved him, though, nothing in this world compared to his daughter, Valeria Celeste McConnell. She was everything to him, his greatest joy and his proudest accomplishment. Nev had a sarcastic humor that could catch you off guard and leave you laughing before you even realized what happened. Yet underneath that wit was someone who had a gift for making every person around him feel genuinely loved. That rare combination of sharp humor and deep warmth is something his family and friends will carry with them always.

Nev is survived by his beloved daughter, Valeria Celeste McConnell; partner, Ariana Biancofiore; mother, Nyreen Rivera; father, Ryan McConnell; brothers, Eliex Cruz, Sebastian Cruz, Brayden McConnell, Ryan McConnell Jr., and Kamryn McConnell; sister, Evelyn McConnell; niece, Indie Cruz; grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Christmas’s Funeral Home, located at 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042, to honor and celebrate Nev’s life. Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 2-6 p.m., with services starting at 6 p.m.

There is a proverb that reminds us that the measure of a life is not found in its length but in its depth. Nev’s life, though far too short, ran deep. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.”

When families come to Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. to make arrangements for a loved one or discuss preplanning, they often ask the same question: "What do I do next?" Our mission is to answer that question and all the questions that follow until we've created the perfect farewell, which truly looks...
