Norma D. Keyser, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, left this world at the age 91 on Sunday, August 1, 2021, in the loving home of her son, Eugene.

She was born Thursday, October 3, 1929, in Backus, WV to the late Link Berry and Esta Berry. After graduating high school, Norma chased her dreams to teach young children. She graduated from Millersville University with a Master’s in Education with a Specialty in Reading and taught second grade for 42+ years, mostly with Lebanon School District. She was proud to be a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Norma was a lifelong member of Eastern Star. Lastly, Norma loved playing bridge and belonged to several bridge clubs, but her true passion was ballroom dancing in the loving arms of her treasured husband, Claude.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Link and Esta Berry, brothers Clarence Berry and Andrew Berry and her beloved sister, Geneva. She is loved by her husband, Claude W. Keyser and her two children, Eugene Cooper Jr., and her daughter Debra Bowman along with six grandchildren, Danielle Terpak, Kyle Cooper, Katelyn Leal, Jeff Klepper, Michael Cooper and Olivia Cooper; three great grandchildren Nolan Cooper, Graham Leal and Porter Leal. Norma was a hard-working, passionate figure of strength who never waned in her support or love of her family. Norma loved her family so deeply.

Services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon, on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.
