Norman G. Marks, 87, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Anita L. (Yeakley) Marks, who died on April 25, 2014.
Born in Stouchsburg, PA, on Aug. 22, 1938, he was a son of the late Norman L. and Catherine M. (Kline) Marks. He was a 1956 graduate of Myerstown High School, received an accounting degree from LaSalle Business School, and took many years of continuing education courses.
Norman served in the U.S. Marines. He was employed as an accountant at N.G. Marks Agency, Myerstown, until 1996. He then became the owner of A.L. Marks Accounting, Myerstown, until 2024.
He was a life member of the following associations: Penna. Society, Goodwill Fire Company #1, Myerstown Rod & Gun Club, Mount Zion Community Fire Company, Myerstown VFW Memorial Post #6076, Myerstown Goodwill Fire Company #1, and the Tall Cedars Drug Task Force.
He was also a member of the Williamson Masonic Lodge #307 F & AM, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Reading, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, National Association of Tax Preparers, Keystone Fire Company, Myerstown VFW, NRA, PA Antique Gun Collectors, Quittapahilla Forest #25, Motorists Insurance Company, American Indian Relief Council, Council of Indian Nations, Northern Plains Reservation Aid, Pipestone Indian Shrine Association, S/W Reservation Aid, Stephens Indian Mission Foundation, Chief Crazy Horse Memorial, Kutztown Community Fire Company, Lebanon Rescue Mission, Myerstown Keystone Hook & Ladder, and Mount Aetna Rescue Fire Company #1.
Norman is survived by his daughters, Cherie, wife of Carl Lutz, of Myerstown, and Gina, wife of Thomas Tuncil, of Myerstown; grandchildren, Abbey L., wife of Justin Mays, Justin L. Lutz, Ryan L. Lutz, companion of Haley Challenger, and Jason T. Tuncil, husband of Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Holden T. and Miranda L. Mays, and Amelia and Matias Tuncil. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin M. Tuncil.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA, with a Masonic service beginning at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be private.
