Norman L. Harman, 90, of Jonestown, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021.
Born Sept. 18, 1931 in Linglestown, he was a son of the late Arthur P. and Sadie C. (Hoerner) Harman and widower since July 2019 of Ruby M. (Hower) Harman after 54 years of marriage.
He was also preceded in death by daughters, Lynette Harman and Jean Schneck; and siblings, William Harman, Earl Harman, Paul Harman, Grace Green, Lester Harman, Marlin Harman, and Sarah Harman.
Retired from Home Depot, Lebanon, he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale and the West Hanover Fire Company. Norman served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving are his son, Scott, husband of Beverly Harman; daughter, Carol, wife of Kevin Harner; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 at his church, 98 Fisher Ave., Jonestown, preceded by a viewing at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swatara Twp.
