Norton W. “Red” Kiene, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Myerstown, PA, at the age of 95.

Born on Feb. 19, 1931, in Jonestown, PA, Norton led a life filled with service, adventure, and love for his family. A dedicated truck driver for many years, Norton found joy on the open road and enjoyed the camaraderie that came with his work in the transportation industry.

Beyond his career, he was actively involved in the community, participating in organizations such as the NRA and Boy Scouts, where he passed on his passion for outdoor activities and responsible citizenship to younger generations. Norton was also an avid enthusiast of Harley Davidson motorcycles, enjoying the thrill and freedom they brought.

Norton is survived by his loving children: son, Dennis Kiene, and spouse, Diane, daughter, Laura Weaver, and spouse, Wilbur, son, Robert Kiene, and spouse, Kori, and (late) daughter, Mary Ann Kiene.

Most importantly, Norton cherished his family and had a deep love for his grandchildren: Elizabeth Anne, Amy Danielle, and spouse, Walter Potts, Ashley Marie, Zachary Norton, and spouse, Marissa, Cory Allen, and companion, Steph Hellinger, (late) Darian Tyler, Matthew Jonathon, Cameron Lamar, and Alyssa MacKenzie; great-grandchildren, Katlyn Elaine, Tyler Glen, Mackensie Anne, Jeremiah Nathen, Timothy Joseph, Alora Elizabeth, William Henry, (late) Abel Elijah, and Daisy Lou; great-great-grandchildren, Marley Elayne and Richard Andre; siblings, John Kiene, Lila Bowman, Catherine Derr, Joanne Weaver, and spouse, Roger, (late) Theodore Kiene, (late) Yolanda McHugh, (late) Paul “Jack” Kiene, (late) Earl Kiene, and (late) Robert Kiene.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance M. Kiene (Young); and parents, John and Lillian Kiene (Degler).

Visitation will take place at Christman’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. on Friday, April 17, 2026, starting at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. A graveside service will also be held at Kochenderfer’s Cemetery following the service.
