Palm C. Bernardo, 92, of Ponte Vedra, FL, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Starling of Ponte Vedra (assisted living community). She was the wife of the late Edward F. Bernardo, who passed away in 2020.
Palm was born in Lebanon on April 9, 1933, to the late Domenico and Vienna (Baldori) Candori. She was a 1950 graduate of Annville High School. She began working as a teller at Farmer’s Trust Bank and eventually became a vice president of Farmer’s Trust Bank, which later became Fulton Bank.
She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and she served on the Board of Governors of the Lebanon County Club. She received the Athena Award in 1995 due in large part to her charitable work, much of which involved the Good Samaritan Hospital. Palm enjoyed card club and bowling and was an avid golfer.
Palm is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bernardo Browne (Thomas), of Ponte Verda, FL; and brother, Marino D. “Mari” Candori (Tina), of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Lavine and Minnie Nickliss.
