Parker C. Bender, 22, of Myerstown, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born in Lebanon, PA on June 9, 1998, he was the son of Michele Fisher, of Myerstown, and Christopher, husband of Jamie Bender, of Bethel. Parker attended ELCO High School. He enjoyed skateboarding, talking politics, listening to and writing music, and Groundhog Day.

In addition to his parents, Parker is survived by a sister, Aribella Kehr, of Bethel, brother, Tyler Deveau, of New Hampshire, maternal grandparents, Dennis and Joeanne Fisher, of Myerstown, paternal grandparents, Charles and Cindy Bender, of Myerstown, uncles, Michael Fisher, Jeffrey Fisher, Chuck Bender, aunt, Heather Rhoads, and cousins, Adam, Benjamin, Joshua, and Jonathan Fisher, Brianna and Mason Bender, and Keith, Rachel, and Austin Rhoads. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Nathan Bender.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021, from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Funeral services will be private. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, with a procession forming at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m.
