Patricia A. Fahnestock, 84, of Palmyra, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Londonderry Village. She was the loving wife of David B. Fahnestock, who passed away in 2020.

Born in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late John and Sara (Heilman) Hunberger.

Patricia graduated from Elizabethtown College with her Bachelor of Arts degree and was a teacher with the Annville-Cleona School District until her retirement. She taught Sunday school at Trinity UCC in Palmyra as well as religious education for over 40 years with the Palmyra Council of Church. Patricia enjoyed antiques and travel, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was the former owner of The Natural in Hummelstown.

She is survived by her two children, Dane A. Fahnestock, of Harrisburg, and Wendy J. Fahnestock, of Palmyra; five grandchildren, Dane D. Fahnestock, Karissa Fahnestock, Amanda Jacobs, Dierra Howells, and Laura Albertson; and eight great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by two sons, David John Fahnestock and Kyle David Fahnestock.

A Celebration of Life for both Patricia and David will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10:30 AM from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will be held privately by the family. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of their Celebration of Life at the funeral home.
