Patricia A. Swartz, 86, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Alpine Valley. She was the wife of the late James C. Swartz Sr.
Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and June (Grimes) Stoessel. Patricia graduated from Alvernia University and worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital as a registered nurse for 39 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lebanon, where she was active in the senior choir and the United Methodist Women and Rachel Circle bible study. Patricia enjoyed volunteering at the Cornwall Manor Health Care Center, bowling, and playing 500 rummy with her family.
She is survived by her children, James C. Swartz Jr., of Ormond Beach, FL, Vicki M. Swartz, of Lebanon, Brenda Olmsted, of Lakewood, CO, and David Swartz, of Holly Hill, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Olmsted, Alicia Olmsted, and Cole Swartz; and siblings, Jeff Stoessel, of Casselberry, FL, and Jane, wife of Vaughn Dagenhart, of Hickory, NC. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Ronald A. Swartz; and siblings, Larry Stoessel and Carole Heisey.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org, in her memory.
