Paul A. Ott, 77, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Cedar Haven. He was the husband of the late Lucy R. (Long) Gilbert-Ott, Ann Ott, and Gladys Ott.
Born in Lebanon on Aug. 7, 1947, Paul was the son of the late Foster M. and Ethel M. (Merkey) Ott. He was a welder for Houck Manufacturing for many years and worked as a truck driver for different trucking companies. He attended South Lebanon Community Church, where he played guitar and sang in the church band. He had two horses named Kat and Hoss. He had a blackbelt in Taekwondo, enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, and making home improvements.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Julia L. Ott, and Jeremiah Tucker, of Lancaster, and Marie E. Ott-Smith, wife of Corey Smith, of Mount Joy; grandchildren, Noelle, Natalia, Isaiah, and Isabelle; and sister, Janet Ott Snyder, of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Rudy.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at South Lebanon Community Church, 101 E. Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Inurnment will follow the service at Friedens Memorial Park in Myerstown.
