Paul E. Peffley Jr., 89, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at Lebanon Nursing & Rehab. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth T. Peffley. They were married for 60 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Oct. 28, 1936, Paul was the son of the late Paul E. Peffley Sr. and Bernetta M. Peffley (Leedy). Paul spent several years in the Navy after high school, worked in the grocery business for many years, and ended his career managing and developing real estate.

Paul is survived by his son, David Peffley Sr., husband of Stephanie; daughter-in-law, Michelle Peffley; grandchildren, Paul Peffley IV, partner of Carla Cyr, Lauren Peffley, partner of Kevin Albert Jr., Morgan Peffley, David Peffley Jr., Shannon Peffley, Brittany Deimler, wife of Elwood, Hailey Notz, wife of Derrick, Brandon Peffley, Aaron Peffley, husband of Ariel, and Kelsey Peffley; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul D. Peffley III; and sisters, Lillian Royer and Rosemarie Gress.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment with full military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
