Paul H. Sando Jr., 81, passed away on Aug. 8, 2023, at the VA Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Nov. 17, 1941, in Lebanon, PA, to his parents, Paul H. Sando Sr. and Beatrice V. Sando nee Sherman.

Paul had a distinguished career with IBM, where he dedicated 30 years of his life. His dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on the company and his colleagues.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Paul also served in the Air Force from 1959 to 1967. His time in the military further demonstrated his commitment to serving others and his country.

Outside of work and military service, Paul had a passion for running the Church Sound System at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. He took great joy in ensuring the church services were filled with beautiful music and clear sound for all attendees.

Paul was also an avid traveler and enjoyed exploring new places alongside his family. His curiosity and adventurous spirit led to many memorable experiences shared with loved ones throughout the years.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Yeagley, and her spouse, Michael; as well as his grandson, Jeremy R. Yeagley. Paul’s family meant the world to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He was preceded in death by wife, Roberta W. Sando nee Feeman.

A visitation will be held on Aug. 18, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 28 N. 9th St., Lebanon, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held at Grand View Memorial Park in Annville, PA, on Aug. 18, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his service to his country, and the love he shared with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
