Paul was born on March 16, 1931, in Rehrersburg to the late Milton and Minnie Smith.

When Paul moved to Annville, he joined the Christ Church U.C.C. of Annville.

Paul spent most of his life living on a farm, where he kept himself busy. He could often be found mowing, taking care of his pets, admiring his antique tractor collection, or just sitting out back, relaxing and enjoying his views. He loved to go out to eat and could often be seen at several local restaurants throughout Lebanon County. Paul spoke fluent Pennsylvania Dutch and enjoyed attending PA Dutch festivals and gatherings. He will be truly missed, but not forgotten.
