Paul L. Garrison, 91, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Born in Annville, PA, on Jan. 13, 1934, Paul was the son of the late Otis and Hattie Garrison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. After proudly serving our country, he lived in California, where he was an entrepreneur, having numerous businesses, including an auto body shop, where his clients were among some of Hollywood’s greats, including Bing Crosby.
Paul was a craftsman, enjoying building anything from furniture to houses, with a special passion for landscaping and tending flowerbeds. An avid reader, Paul enjoyed novels, but mostly spiritual books, as he was a man of strong faith. He very much enjoyed spending time in Ocean City, NJ, with his neighbors and the many special friends he made there.
Paul always had an interesting story to tell, from his early years growing up in Annville to his coast-to-coast adventures. His many friends will miss his regaling of a lifetime of experiences, which were always entertaining.
Surviving are his sisters, Helen Miller, Ann Yeagley, and Ruth Good; friends (who became family), Michael A. Deitzler, husband of Vicki, of Lebanon, and their son, Austin M. Deitzler; and nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Estelle Ragginto; and Michael “Evan” Deitzler.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will form at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Gretna International Film Festival, 10 Stoneleigh Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042, in his memory.
