Paul M. Dinger, Sr., 75, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital-Lebanon. He was the husband of June E. (Morgan) Dinger with whom he would of celebrated 31 years of marriage in October.
Paul was born in Pottsville, PA on August 22, 1945, a son of the late Paul Woodrow and Irene (Breidegan) Dinger. Paul was employed as a truck driver for Bashore Trucking-Bethel, PA for many years until his retirement. Paul was a kindhearted and thoughtful man and was always concerned about other’s happiness and if he thought you needed a little brightening to your day, he saw to it.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Lora L. Tobias, of Myerstown, two sons Paul M. Dinger, Jr., and Jason C. Dinger, both of Lebanon; a stepdaughter, Sherry A., wife of Bryan Hoyer, of Lebanon and one brother, Richard Dinger, of Pine Grove. He is survived by his grandchildren, Kevin Hoyer husband of Alexis, Blake Hoyer, husband of Samantha, Michael Fry, Michelle Fry, Brianna Dinger, and Amanda McFarland; eleven great-grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Betty L. Morgan, of Lebanon. He was pre-deceased by his granddaughter, Tara Lynn Tobias, sister, Darlene Zimmerman, and his brother, Clifford Dinger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in Grose Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Interment private at the convenience of the family.
