Paul W. Shifflet, 86, of Myerstown, PA, died on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehab. He was the husband of Katharine (Lupinetti) Shifflet. His first wife, Sharon D. (Allamong) Shifflet, passed away on Nov. 20, 2011.

Born in Hagerstown, MD, on May 18, 1939, he was a son of the late John W. and Fleme Catherine (Tate) Shifflet. Paul was employed by Norfolk-Southern for 45 years, last serving in the capacity of Chief Train Dispatcher. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Carquest and also drove school bus for many years. Paul enjoyed going to the casino, cars, trains, and eating desserts.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lisa R., wife of John Collins, of North East, MD, Lori J., wife of Timothy Clippinger, of Stewartstown, PA, C. Todd, husband of Michele Shifflet, of Womelsdorf, PA, and Beth M., wife of Stephen Sheffy, of Fredericksburg, PA; six grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1500 Walnut St., Ste. 301, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
