Pauline A. Wright, 95, of Lebanon, passed away on July 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Alphonsus and Anna (Ruetz) Baumann.

Pauline graduated from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan, in 1950 with a BA in home economics. After graduation, she worked at Proctor & Gamble before getting married and having children. She was very creative, excelling in sewing, needlework, cross stitching, and quilting, and had many other creative interests as well. In her final years, one of her great joys was making flower pens for others, which she gave away freely. One of her favorite pastimes was playing dominoes with her children and friends. She loved doing puzzles as well and always had one in progress on her table. A good visit with family usually included Taco Bell for lunch, topped off with a mini ice cream cone!

Pauline was a faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville, PA, where she worshipped for 50 years. She was a member of the Faith Sharing group there as well. She enjoyed donating her craft items and time to the church bazaar.

In 1975, Pauline became a volunteer for the Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees who were relocated to Ft. Indiantown Gap after the fall of Saigon. She became lifelong friends with a family whom she connected with at that time. After raising her family, Pauline worked at Hershey Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital in the Medical Records Department and volunteered to serve Meals on Wheels for several years. Giving gave Pauline great joy.

She is survived by her five remaining children, Sue Steinmeyer, of Tulsa, OK, Marianna Schaffer (Ken), of Carlisle, PA, Jim Wright, of Reading, PA, Liz Heilman (Eric), of Lewisberry, PA, and Dan Wright (Nanette), of Lebanon, PA; grandchildren, Alana Martinez, Erica and Zachary Heilman, Kelly, Kevin, and Joshua Wright, Brandy Rodriguez, Angie Pheng, and Samantha Blauch; and great-grandchildren, Savannah and Samia Aguilar, Liliana Martinez, Mya Blauch, Benjamin and Addy Rodriguez, Theo and Siahna Pheng, Amilleo Blauch, and Arthur and Elliot Heilman.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Richards (Don) and Charles Baumann (Kay); and her oldest son, Michael Wright.
