Pauline Corrigan passed away on Sept. 27, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She was born in 1927 to the late Oscar and Beatrice Hungarter, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Pauline was the oldest daughter among eight siblings, and her nurturing spirit and caring nature were evident from a young age. Her siblings, Oscar, Elwood, Marion, Walter, David, and Charlie preceded her in death. Her surviving sibling, Louis, currently resides in Florida.

She married the late James Corrigan in 1947, with whom she had four children: the late Donald Corrigan and Barbara Rutchauskas, and is survived by Patricia Williams and Elaine Bishop. Pauline was a cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A faithful member of Firwood United Methodist Church, Pauline’s spirituality played an essential role in her life. Additionally, she attended Campbelltown United Methodist Church, further deepening her connection to her faith.

Throughout her years, she entertained all who crossed her path with her singing, dancing, and hilarious impersonations of iconic figures such as George Burns and Minnie Pearl.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the dementiasociety.org in honor of Pauline Corrigan. This gesture will help support those affected by dementia and contribute to ongoing research to combat this devastating disease.
