Pauline M. Reichard (nee Lingle), 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, with her daughters at her side.

After graduating from Palmyra High School in 1943, Polly attended PA School of Aeronautics in preparation for wartime employment at Middletown Air Depot, where she worked as an electrical technician. After WWII, she married Martin E. Reichard on Aug. 2, 1947, and started a family. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and Bible School, and fundraising with bake sales and rummage sales. Polly was employed as a sewing machine operator and sample specialist at Bogene Manufacturing for 12 years. She later became a sales associate for the 16 Plus store, retiring in 1992 after 15 years of service. Polly lived life for her daughters and family and enjoyed several trips to Florida to visit her daughters. She was an avid Phillies fan and reveled in a special birthday celebration at Citizens Bank Park for her 81st birthday. Her favorite times were holidays and birthdays when her girls and their families would visit, sharing memories and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. Reichard, her daughter, Donna J. McDonnell (Brian McDonnell), her granddaughter, Stacy McDonnell, and her brothers, Albert and Wilmer Lingle.

She is survived by her daughters, Renae Reichard and Cynthia Whitman (Lester E. Whitman), her granddaughters, Kelly McDonnell, Melissa Schmelz (Michael), and Jaime Morgan (Dan), and her great-grandsons, Connor and Gavin Schmelz.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of her life on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 at Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to follow.
