Penrose W. Hostetter, 95, of Annville died Saturday, November 13, 2021, at his residence.
Born in North Annville Township on August 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Penrose S. and Katie (Light) Hostetter.
He worked as a farmer and was the owner of Hostetter Sales and Service. Penrose was a charter member of North Annville Bible Church and a current member at Hershey Evangelical Free Church, where he had served as a church elder. He was a member of Gideons International and served as the North Annville Township Supervisor. Penrose was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. He also contributed to Mission Work done on the island of Dominica.
Surviving are three sons, Rodney D. Hostetter, husband of Wilma, of Annville, Kevin J. Hostetter, husband of Sandi, of Annville, Stephen P. Hostetter, of Steelstown, two daughters, Gail J. Klopp, wife of Richard, of Annville, Natalie M. Witmer, wife of Darrel, of Manheim, twelve grandchildren, and thirty-one great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, M. Caroline Hostetter, four brothers, Allen Hostetter, Luke Hostetter, Lloyd Hostetter, Mark Hostetter, and three sisters, Cora Miller, Ruth Blauch, Alma Neidich.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at North Annville Bible Church, 4590 Hill Church Road, Annville, PA 17003. A public viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial with military honors will be held at North Bellegrove Cemetery.
