Peter Emmanuel Jackson entered into the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He passed away in Wilmington, Delaware at the Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children.

He was born on Nov. 25, 2004, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, beloved son of Joel and Sara (Shearer) Jackson. Peter was a big brother to Sianna, his ten-year-old sister. He was a sophomore at the Tulpehocken Junior-Senior High School in Bernville, Pennsylvania.

Peter enjoyed working with his model trains, creating content on his YouTube channel, and experimenting in the kitchen. When he was young, Peter was introduced to Thomas the Train and it became an enduring passion for him. He could tell you anything about these trains and acquired an extensive collection. He created “Crazy Caboose Creations” which can be viewed on his YouTube Channel. Peter created elaborate layouts and went to train shows, adding additional items to his collection.

Peter loved music. He was a member of the Tulpehocken Show Choir and Concert Choir. He loved performing in musicals at his school. He recently performed in “Newsies” as Romeo.
Over the years, Peter participated in many community service activities, traveled with mission teams throughout the nation to assist with Vacation Bible Schools and building projects in these communities.

He loved to spend his summers at two favorite places. He went to Gretna Glen United Methodist Church Camp in Lebanon, Pennsylvania every year since he was a baby. He also looked forward to weeks at Indian Lake at a family camp in the Adirondacks in New York. Fishing, kayaking, playing games, and campfires were highlights of those trips.

Peter’s survivors include his maternal grandparents, Rodney and Mary Ellen (Olmsted) Shearer, of Myerstown, PA, paternal grandparents, George and Susan (Seacord) Jackson, of Guiderland, NY, his uncles and aunts, Matt and Angela (Shearer) Dickinson, of Palmyra, PA, Jeff and Laurabeth (Shearer) Kapp, of Myerstown, PA, Jennifer Jackson, of Coventry, CT, Jeffrey Jackson, of Guilderland, NY; Aron and Jill Jackson, of Schenectady, NY, Brandon and Judy (Jackson) Hawk from Johnston, RI, George and Janis (Jackson) Robare, of Colonie, NY, and Joanna Jackson and Brandan Chapman, of Oneonta, NY. He is also survived by many other extended relatives and beloved friends.

Peter lived his life, showing those around him how to be brave in difficult circumstances and how to focus on their faith, their passions, and the people they love. He will be deeply missed.
