Peter P. Mozurkevich Jr., 67, of Mount Aetna, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Patricia H. (Pentz) Mozurkevich. They would have celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23.

Born in South Ozone Park, NY, on July 12, 1957, he was the son of the late Peter P. Mozurkevich Sr. and Dolores C. Kosier.

He graduated from Pine Grove High School with the Class of 1975 and was a proud Penn State Class of 1979 graduate. Peter retired from the Pine Grove Police Department in February 2024 after serving the Pine Grove community for 34 years and in law enforcement for over 40 years. He loved all things cars. He was an avid collector and always had an upcoming car show on the calendar. He enjoyed events and concerts at the local Lions Club and giving back to the community in any way that he could. He took pride in his home in Mount Aetna, and, most of all, he loved spending time with his family, including his best friend, Jake (his pup). Peter will always be remembered by his sense of humor and unlimited jokes to put a smile on your face.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Krista, wife of Zach Ashcraft, of St. Cloud, FL; stepdaughter, Mindy, wife of Cory Bishop, of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Troy and Khole; and three of his four sisters.

Celebration of life will be at the convenience of the family.

Peace and Love. 10-7.
