Phillip D. Stauffer, 71, of Myerstown, PA, died on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Yeakley) Stauffer. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Aug. 25, 2025.
Born in Lancaster, PA, on July 14, 1954, Phillip was a son of the late Orville and Grace (Gibble) Stauffer. He retired as a machine operator from Clover Farms, Reading. Prior to that job, he worked for his parents at the Mount Aetna Orchard. Phillip was a member of the Mount Aetna Fire Co. who enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and dancing, and was an avid 49ers and Phillies fan.
In addition to his wife, Phillip is survived by his sons, Dale (Nancy) Stauffer, Travis (Suzanne) Stauffer, and Adam Stauffer; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Marurer, Doris (Nolan) Keeney, Gloria (Dennis) Seiverling, and Deborah (John) Seiverling; brother, Terry (Mary) Stauffer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Gerald Stauffer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, PA.
