Phyllis G. King, 65, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Levi G. King. On July 17, they would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.

Born in Lancaster on Feb. 29, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Reba (Geib) Groff. Phyllis and her husband were the owners of L&P Transport Inc. in Fredericksburg. She was a member of the Mount Zion Road Church, where she was active in the choir and the women’s Bible study.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Janae L., wife of Bradley Adams, of Johnstown; sisters, Janice (Marvin) Stoner, of Penryn, Janet (Harold) Bross, of Manheim, Rachel (Mervin) Groff, of Manheim, and Julia (Edward) Kegerreis, of Schaefferstown; and grandchildren, Reba, Waylon, and Rhett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Mount Zion Road Church, 2087 Mount Zion Road, Lebanon, PA 17046. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will follow the service at Wolf’s Union Meeting House Cemetery.
