Phyllis M. Wolfe, 95, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Edward I. Wolfe Sr., who passed away in 1989.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late M. Lester and Amelia (Field) Morrow. Phyllis earned a baccalaureate degree in education, then went on for a master’s degree in psychology while raising a family. She enjoyed her career as an elementary school teacher, teaching third grade in the Lebanon School District. She retired from teaching in 1995.

However, she continued to be active in her community post-retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Lebanon Country Club for over 50 years, the site of many family celebrations. She was a board member for the Area Agency on Aging and volunteered with the Rape Crisis Center. She assisted with tax preparation for seniors through an AARP program. She was a volunteer for the Tunnel Hill Park summer programs and enjoyed volunteering at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire school days.

Phyllis’s hobbies included being an avid reader, gardening, and playing bridge. She was health-conscious, participating in an exercise and fitness program for seniors until earlier this year! And let us not forget how much she enjoyed the Women’s Investment Club! When the kids were young, the family loved camping and spending time at the beach with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Phyllis loved and was so very proud of her children. She is survived by Rebecca J. “Becky” Wolfe, of Hummelstown, and Edward I. “Ned” Wolfe Jr., and husband, Greg Baird, of Hershey. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Bruce Wolfe; and brother, Bruce “Pete” Morrow.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. A closed casket visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of her service on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon County Humane Society, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067, in her memory.
