Ralph E. Clews, 88, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at Alpine Valley Post Acute & Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Kathleen A. Clews, to whom he was married for 63 years.
Born in Centralia, PA, on Oct. 5, 1936, Ralph was a son of the late Elmer and Anna (Levan) Clews. He was a 1955 graduate of Milton Hershey School. He was a corpsman in the Navy for four years. After being discharged from the military, he became a nurses aide and worked at the Lebanon VA Medical Center for over 30 years. Ralph was a quiet family man, loved golf and watching sports, and was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan.
In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his children, Gregory E. Clews and Lisa M. Knerr, wife of Larry; sisters-in-law, Ruth Weyman and Judy Clews; brother-in-law, Joseph Singer; several nieces and nephews; fur baby, Zoey; and grand fur baby, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Clews, Robert Clews, Eugene Clews, and John Wayman; sisters, Shirley Clemens and Louise Shutter; and brothers-in-law, Robert Clemens and Craig Shutter.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
