Ray A. Kreider, 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Barbara (Arnold) Kreider, to whom he was married for 65 years.

Born in Womelsdorf, he was a son of the late Henry and Sara (Miller) Kreider. Ray retired after 25 years from ALCOA, where he worked as a coater operator.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriner’s, and the Lions’ Club, serving in various positions. Ray loved attending all sporting events in Lebanon and Lancaster counties. He coached the Lebanon Valley teener baseball to a State Championship in 1981. He played in the Hershey Drum and Bugle Corps. Ray always had a smile on his face, bringing laughter to many people.

In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his daughters, Sharon, wife of Alan Bomgardner, Gail, wife of Andre Gagliano, and Sue, wife of Dave Gingrich; grandchildren, Jason Kreider, and wife, Malory, Kayla Kreider, Amber, wife of Clayton Kubrick, Chad Bomgardner, Elizabeth Gagliano, Marissa, wife of Grant Fisher, Megan, wife of Matthew Achille, Steven Gagliano, and Brock Gingrich; eight grandchildren; and brother, Earl Kreider, and wife, Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Kreider and Keith R. Kreider; twin brother, Roy Kreider; and sister, Marian Huffman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of his service at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center and WellSpan Hospice for their care and compassion during Ray’s time there. Their dedication and kindness provided him with comfort and dignity in his final days.
