Ray P. Schlaseman Sr., 87, died on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at Myerstown Nursing & Rehab. He was a son of the late Lester and Mary Schlaseman.

Ray worked as a driver of trucks for Leffler Energy, motor coaches, school buses, and limousines. He owned Ray’s Catering Service for 45 years.

Ray is survived by his son, Ray P. Schlaseman Jr.; twin sister, Raeanna M. (Schlaseman) Grumbine; former wife, Ethel (Shamber) Schlaseman; three nephews; and niece.

A public viewing for Mr. Ray Schlaseman will be held on Feb. 4, 2026, at Christman’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Zion Gosherts United Church of Christ Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ray’s name to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Mount Zion Community Fire Company, 1520 Mount Zion Road, Lebanon, PA 17046.
