Raye Jean Lasher, 81, of Palmyra, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late James P. Lasher, Jr., who passed away in 2019.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ray E. and Lillie S. (Hoover) Brady.

Jean was a homemaker and worked at Mama’s Jeans in Palmyra. She enjoyed reading and loved cats.

She is survived by three sons, Don Lasher of Lebanon, James M. Lasher and wife Lorrie of Palmyra, and Ray A. Lasher and wife Theresa of Dixon, MO; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by a son, Steven “Scotty” Lasher, and two grandchildren, Wendy Jo and Steven James.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 9 AM from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and on Thursday from 8:30 am until the time of her service at the funeral home.
