Raymond A. “Ray” Clemens, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Alpine Valley Post Acute & Healthcare Center in Lebanon. He was the husband of Margaret R. “Maggie” (Collins) Clemens. On April 13, they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on July 28, 1937, Ray was the son of the late Carl E. and Helen (Beard) Clemens. He retired from G.E., where he worked as a welder for 34 years. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Lebanon. He enjoyed woodworking and especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by his son, Brian S., husband of Sherri Clemens, of Lebanon; daughter, Renee M., wife of Scott Condran, of Myerstown; daughter-in-law, Tracie Clemens, of Lebanon; sister, Nadine Lyons, of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his son, Raymond A. Clemens Jr.; brothers, Carl, Albert, and William Clemens; and sister, Jacqueline Bowers.
