Raymond W. Broy, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Eva M. (Hartline) Broy. They just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7.
Born on July 30, 1945, in Stephens City, VA, Raymond was the son of the late Gillis and Myra (Snyder) Broy. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He went on to become a steelworker for Hoffman Industries for many years. He attended Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending local car races and went to different NASCAR races. Raymond liked to go hunting and fishing, work, take the dogs for a walk, and spend time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Eva, he is survived by his children, Christopher W., husband of Melissa Broy, of Pine Grove, Mildred N., wife of Douglas Black, of Newmanstown, and Kimberly A., wife of Peter Halstead, of Knoxville, TN; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Brenda Childress, of Stephens City, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Committal service with military honors will follow at the funeral home.
