Rebecca L. Trout, 55, of Lititz, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Born in Lebanon on April 24, 1967, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Deanna (Reed) Light of Myerstown.

Rebecca graduated from ELCO High School with the Class of 1985. She went on to get her nursing degree at Reading Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1988. Rebecca began working at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon in 1989 as an RN and worked right up until she got sick and could work no more. Her number one priority was taking care of her patients.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Trista R. Trout, and her companion, David A Sulayman, of Lititz; son, Joel D. Trout, of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Ameyamia; and sisters, Angie Sauder, of Lancaster, and Christine Light, of Myerstown.

Memorial services will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Jacob’s Kimmerlings Church, 1 St. Jacob’s Dr., Lebanon, PA, 17046. A visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to the start of the service. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
