Richard C. “Dick” Clay, 81, of Myerstown, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Darlene E. Moyer Clay. On December 20th, they would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.

Born in Stouchsburg on February 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Ralph and Gertrude Sherman Clay. Richard retired after 32 years working as a truck driver for Denny Sanger. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Hamlin U.C.C and he enjoyed traveling and watching NASCAR and riding his Harley.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Roxanne Coleman, of Daytona Beach, FL and Renee Grynastyl, of Bethel; step-daughters Tammy Lane, of Mt. Aetna, Tracy Grimm ,of Lebanon and Tina wife of Jeff Wartluft, of Mt. Aetna; brother Robert Clay, of Lebanon; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Russell Clay, step-brother Mervin Sherman and sisters Sara Lasch and Bernice Brandt.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will be leaving the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, at 2:30 p.m.
