Richard E. Boyer, 91, of Annville, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at MS Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Gloria J. Boyer, who passed away in 2010.

Richard was born in Fritztown, PA, on April 13, 1932, to the late William M. and Edith M. (Pennypacker) Boyer.

He retired as supervisor of printing from Armstrong World Industries. Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Palmyra. Richard formerly volunteered at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was an avid softball player in his younger years and enjoyed traveling, hunting, and golfing.

He is survived by his children, Glenn R. Boyer (Tamara), of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Jody Paul (Emerson), of Stevens; grandchildren, Derek Boyer (Jamie), Darla Boyer, and Matthew Paul; and great-grandchildren, Colton Boyer and Easton Boyer.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Fritz.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at 12 p.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
