Richard E. Lefever, 81, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Wellspan Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born Aug. 1, 1938 in Lancaster Pa. to the late John and Carrie Sullivan Lefever. Richard served his country in the Airforce; 1956-1957 when he was medically discharged. He recently retired from the trucking industry and was a welder for many years. Richard, also known as Febe by most, will be remembered by his kind heart and his love and dedication to his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Carrie Lefever, his two brothers John and Paul Lefever and his daughter Lisa Ruiz. Surviving Richard is his wife Carol of 58 years, his three sisters Marian wife of George Backenstoes, Mamie wife of Paul Garman and Betsy wife of Gene Schell, his son Richard and wife Pat Scaramuzino, Gary Scaramuzino, Michael Lefever, and his daughter Denise wife of Steve Kreiser, his three grandchildren Ashley Desevo, Amber and Felicia Kreiser, and his six great grandchildren Brayden and Patryck Desevo, Davonte and Amya Montanez, Jayvon Kreiser and Phoenix Fuchs.

Public visitation hours are 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Rohland’s Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, Pa. 17042. Funeral services with limited access will be Thursday the 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, the number of folks in attendance is limited to 25 people so please know that we appreciate all your love and support and your understanding that this part of the service will be limited to invitees only.
