Richard G. Moyer, 89, of Myerstown, died Friday, October 22, 2021, at his residence.

He was the husband of Doris L. (Goshert) Moyer, who died September 24, 2021.

Born in Myerstown, on December 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Paul and Lottie (Showvaker) Moyer.

Richard served in the U.S. Air Force as an SSG in the Korean War, worked as a test person at GTE, Myerstown, for 42 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, and a member of the Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown.

Richard is survived by sons, Richard G. Moyer, Jr., of Lebanon, Scott Moyer, of Newmanstown; grandchildren, Jacy, Cody, Joshua, Justin, Brandy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bachman; and a brother, Elmer L. Moyer.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
