Richard L. “Dick” Klopp Sr., 73, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2026, at his home with family surrounding him.

He was born on May 18, 1952, in Lebanon, PA, to Alfred and Christine Klopp. Dick was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 51 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Diane Klopp. Together, they built a life centered on family, laughter, and lasting memories.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Lori Vucetic, and her husband, George, Rick Klopp Jr., and his wife, Amy, and Tammy Conners, and her husband, Doug; and cherished grandchildren, Killian Klopp, Brittany Shaeffer, and her husband, Alex, Courtney Conners, Cassie Clemens, and Kerrigan Klopp. He was also a great-grandfather to Greyson Shaeffer. Dick was one of six siblings, all brothers.

Poker meant the world to Dick’s life and brought him great joy. He spent countless hours at Hollywood Casino, where he was well-known and greeted by name, and regularly traveled to Atlantic City to play, as the game perfectly suited his competitive spirit. He also enjoyed hosting Friday night poker games at his home with friends. Poker and pool were his passions; they brought him joy, connection, and a sense of happiness. These activities helped him build lasting friendships and create cherished memories.

He also had a deep love for travel and adventure, enjoying numerous cruises and tropical trips. Some of the family’s most cherished memories were made during many years of camping together at Knoebels Grove. Dick was a true jokester with a goofy sense of humor who loved to make people laugh and never took himself too seriously.

Whether around the poker table, on a family trip, enjoying time with his birds, or simply spending time with those he loved, Dick brought joy, laughter, and smiles wherever he went. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The immediate family will hold a private celebration of life in honor of Dick Klopp.
