Richard P. “Dick” Yingst Sr., 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Karen L. (Blauch) Yingst. On Dec. 3, they celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.

Born in Ono on Nov. 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Palmer D. and Verna E. (Sherk) Yingst. He was a member of the Northern Lebanon High School Class of 1959. For over 40 years, he was in the plumbing and heating business. He was the owner and operator of Yingst Plumbing & Heating. Dick was a member of the Bellegrove United Methodist Church and was one of the founding members of the Blue Ridge Rod & Gun Club. Following his retirement, he enjoyed buying and selling at flea markets and auctions and visiting with his friends. He really loved spending time with his dogs, especially Phoebe.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rick P. Yingst, and his fiancée, Kimberly Smith, of Campbelltown, and Cynthia R., wife of Jon Holdrith, of Anchorage, AK; step-children, Chris A. Blauch, of Wilton Manors, FL, Tim A., husband of Rhesa Campbell, of Elkin, NC, and Sarah J., wife of Nate Wallis, of Lebanon; sister, Janet Doster, of Jonestown; grandchildren, Amber, Marissa, wife of Evan Daub, and Elijah; step-grandchildren, Kim, Ronin, Evelyn, and Lincoln; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald “Jim” Yingst and Kenneth Yingst.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at North Bellegrove Cemetery.

The family would especially like to thank the staff at Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute and Hospice For All Seasons for the kind and compassionate care during Dick’s illness.
