Rick N. Barlow, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Shirlee H. (Jazwinski) Barlow.

Born in Valley Forge, PA, on Jan. 11, 1956, he was the son of the late John W. Barlow and Christine (Beamesderfer) Williams, of Lebanon. He was a 1974 graduate of Cedar Crest High School, Harrisburg Area Community College, and the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He also served in the U.S. Army as an MP. He worked as a North Lebanon Township Patrolman and a Lebanon County Detective before moving to Frederick Chevrolet for the last 37 years. While at Frederick, he earned more top sales awards than one could count.

Rick enjoyed spending time with his family, hosting big summer parties, collecting Philadelphia Eagles memorabilia, and all things softball. He ran multiple softball and basketball leagues within the county, managed Heisey’s and Avon softball fields, and made sure those fields were ready to play no matter the weather. He was a kind and generous man who quietly donated and supported multiple local sports teams and leagues out of his own pocket.

Anyone who was in need, he took care of, whether you needed a friend, food, or an appliance, he was the one who quietly took care of it. He will be deeply missed by his family and anyone who was blessed to call him a friend.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Jason Barlow (fiancé, Jaime Seyfert), Kyle Barlow (wife, Jessica), Amanda Heimbach (husband, Robert), Matthew Hogg (wife, Tiffany), and Danielle Hogg; and grandchildren, Taylor Ebersole, Kayleigh Hogg, Bradlee Groff, Allisyn Groff, Alivia Barlow, and Henri Barlow. He was also excitedly expecting his first great-granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Barlow and David Barlow; and sister, Connie Barlow.

Visitation and viewing will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 1-4 p.m., at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
