Rilee “Ri” Caileb Knable, 19, of Mount Gretna, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Ri was born in Hershey on Feb. 21, 2007, to Joshua Lee Knable, of Vero Beach, FL, and Caitlin S. Kernan (Boger), of Mount Gretna. He is also survived by his second mother, Jennifer Saylor. He was a 2025 graduate of Palmyra High School and attended the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center his senior year to obtain his Pastry Arts Certificate. He worked for the DelaChes Fishing Association in Palmyra. Ri was involved in the Palmyra Color Guard and Marching Band, chorus, and in his younger years, Boy Scouts Troop #456. He was known for his love of music, drawing, cooking, baking, skateboarding, hiking, camping, and being outdoors, helping anyone who needed a hand around the area with construction projects: painting porches, helping to build decks, and landscaping. Ri was always trying to make others laugh. Ri enjoyed game nights with family and friends, everything from video games, card games, and board games to chess. He loved any time he could break out his traveling chess set.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his siblings, Landon Boger, Cameron Knable, Gracelynn “Gracie” Boger, Kylie Boger, Kalli Knable, Jealee Stouffer, and Lidia Stouffer; maternal grandmother, Christi Reistad; maternal grandfather, Matthew Kernan (Maryann); paternal grandmother, Leslie Norton; paternal grandfather, Walter “Butch” Knable; maternal great-grandparents, Joseph and Donna Kernan; aunts and uncles, Arne Reistad III, James Painter (Tiffany), Anna Shannman (Tyler), Holden Kernan (Carley), and Neil Knable (Katie); and great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins, and a large number of friends who became family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal step-great-grandfather, Arne Reistad Sr.; maternal step-grandfather, Arne Reistad Jr.; and paternal step-grandfather, Dale Norton.
