Rita A. Hain, 94, of Fredericksburg, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Alpine Valley Post Acute & Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Guy H. Hain.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Sept. 15, 1931, Rita was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Knoll) Martel. Rita appreciated the small wonders of nature, spending her time watching the flowers bloom and the birds fly. Her faith was a cornerstone in her life, and she very much enjoyed going to her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Zeller, wife of David; granddaughter, Heather; several great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Martel; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rita was preceded in death by her children, John C. Hain and Douglas K. Hain; grandson, Scott E. Hain; and several brothers and sisters.
