Robert A. Adley Sr., 81, of Grantville, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at his home.
Born in Tower City on Sept. 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Buella M. (Zipp) Adley. Robert retired from GLRA, where he was an equipment operator for 32 years. He was a member of the Jonestown American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his son, Brian L. Adley, and his fiancé, Suzann Daubert, of Lykens; daughters, Karen M. Morningwake, of Williamstown, Carol A. Adley, of Troy, NC, and Bernice Adley, of Grantville; sister, Jean Neidlinger, of Myerstown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert A. Adley Jr.; sister, Carol E. Kreiser; and brothers, Samuel, Charles, and Ronald Adley.
Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Tower City.
