Robert A. Gallagher, 85, of Hershey, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at Harmony at Hershey. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley (Hunsicker) Gallagher.

Born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, on Feb. 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Dorothy (Markham) Gallagher.

Surviving are his sons, Timothy R. Gallagher, husband of Wendy, of Harrisburg, and Brian P. Gallagher, husband of Colleen, of Eldersburg, MD; sister, Patricia Dwyer, of Illinois; and grandchildren, Kiley, Tyler, Luke, and Emily. In addition to his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Michael A. Gallagher; and sister, Dorothy Armbruster.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Harmony at Hershey, 75 E. Canal St., Hershey, PA 17033. In the spirit of Christmas, Bob’s favorite time of year, the gathering will be casual, warm, and festive, with all invited to share fond memories. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice Care, 205 Granite Run Dr., Lancaster, PA 17601, in his memory. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
