Robert E. “Bob” Bowers, 91, of Fredericksburg, died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Providence Place, Pine Grove.

Robert was born on Thursday, May 8, 1930, to the late Charles L. Bowers and Ethel M. Bowers nee Foor in Washington D.C. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps in the Korean War, worked for the State Retirement Board and prepared taxes at home. Bob enjoyed bowling, minigolf, Penn State football and 3D puzzles.

Surviving are daughter, Robin E. Moulfair and spouse Tom, grandchildren Michael Eller, Kelsey Schaeffer, Lindsey Schaeffer, great grandchildren Addison Erb, Saiige Eller, Cam Eller, Leah Shatluck, Bailey Bupp, and sister, Rose Eutzy.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
