Robert E. “Bob” Metzger, 78, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Cedar Haven.
Born in Pine Grove on April 10, 1944, he was the son of the late Donald and Maude Kreiser Metzger.
He retired after 36 years from Hershey Chocolate, where he was a Hershey kiss bagger. He enjoyed doing word puzzles, and he loved drinking his coffee.
He was raised by William Felty. His grandchildren were like Bobby’s brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his “brothers and sisters,” Kenneth Felty of Pine Grove, George Felty of Tower City, Jimmy Felty of Pine Grove, Beatrice Truax of Bethel, Sallie Wenrich of Fredericksburg, Mary Strouphauer of Jonestown, and Brenda Shuman of Fredericksburg.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 until the start of the service. Interment will follow at the Church of God Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp.
