Robert E. Reigle, 81, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 14, 2021. He was born Thursday, July 13, 1939, to the late Daniel and Dorothy K. (Knoche) Reigle. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly (Firestone) Reigle.
Robert was a faithful HERCO employee for many years. He was an avid golfer and bowler who loved to mow grass and work in his yard. Robert also enjoyed spending time watching old westerns like Gunsmoke and Rawhide. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kelly Humphrey and husband Nate, and Kristy Werkheiser and husband Scott, five grandchildren, Kailey Werkheiser, Hayley Schultz, Jared Werkheiser, Hayden Schultz, and Katie Schultz, siblings, Fern Warner and husband Charlie, Carol Hoffman and husband Galen, Linda Holzworth, Donald Reigle and wife Kathryn, Peg Hill and husband Alvin, and Pat Boltz and companion Ed Smith.Â
He is predeceased by his siblings, Delores Zipp and Shirley Hickingbottom.
