Robert J. Engle, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Darlene J. Engle, in 2007. He is survived by his wife, Judith E. (Feary) Engle.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Nov. 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Harvey D. and Hattie G. (Bomberger) Engle.

Bob was a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1960. Following high school, he briefly attended PSU Berks. He was drafted in late 1963, where he served with U.S. Army Aviation at Fort Rucker, Al. He worked as a lineman with Met Ed for over 40 years. He was a member of the Mount Lebanon Masonic Lodge No. 226.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is three children, Sherry L. Brace, of Hershey, Dr. David M. Engle, husband of Shannon M., of Lebanon, and Jennifer L. Modesto, wife of Nicholas M. Modesto Jr., of Pine Grove; four stepchildren; a sister, Linda L. Gepfer, of Millsboro, Delaware; seven grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Schuylkill Memorial Park Chapel, 75 Memorial Dr., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park.
