Robert J. Renninger, 86, of Annville, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna M. (McClure) Renninger.
Born in Rosebud, Beccaria Township, PA, on Dec. 1, 1938, he was the son of the late John A. and Adelaide E. (Estright) Renninger. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and lifelong bricklayer. He was a quiet, unassuming man of few words. He was an avid baseball fan of both the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates. In his later years, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Robert loved watching and following his grandchildren during their sports careers and always looked forward to spending as much time with them as he could.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are five children, Robin L. Hockenberry, significant other of Richard, of La Jose, PA, Roger J. Renninger, of Ebensburg, PA, Timothy A. Renninger Sr., husband of Charlene, of Annville, Denise M. Renninger, of Palmyra, PA, and Richard J. Renninger, of La Jose, PA; grandchildren, Timothy A. Renninger Jr., husband of Kate, Joshua A. Renninger, fiancée of Kieara Stitt, Zachary N. Renninger, husband of Sammi Jo, Grace M. Renninger, significant other of Connor, and Amanda L. McLaughlin; and great-grandson, Asher A. Renninger.
Robert was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
